EXPERT'S TIPS
1. The best of activities will fail if we don't help start the process. Set up & demonstrate the activity by simply "doing" the first step with your family member.

2. It's best to avoid phrasing invitations in the Yes/No format, such as "Would you like to go to the park today?" Rather, say "We're going to the park today." Here, No is not offered as an option & "we" is always more fun and less threatening!
